Summit Learning Centre is operated by Mission Public Schools. Building on the solid reputation established under our previous name, Summit Learning Centre is open to students from all over the province. We provide a quality program to serve the needs of students who are fully educated at home, as well as Grade 10, 11 and 12 students who are enrolled with us for one or two courses in order to take advantage of our flexible schedule and the opportunity to customize their high school program. Graduated adults may also enroll free of charge for high school courses needed for entrance to a post-secondary program. All of our enrollment options lead towards a British Columbia Dogwood Diploma. Enrolled students have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of curricular activities offered in several subject areas through our extensive Art Smarts program.

Gold Trail Open Learning has operated for many years, serving the needs of students who learn at a distance. This year we have added the online component so that students can choose to receive live instruction. These live lessons are archived so that students who can not take part in the online class at the scheduled time can watch the lesson later.

Richmond Virtual School (RVS) offers courses that will be delivered both online and face-to-face. We offer a variety of distributed learning programs that are taught using a multitude of teaching styles, methods and technology. Our online delivery of curriculum will feature full-time teacher support and instruction. Arrow Lakes Distributed Learning School: engaging students in learning.

The Ministry of Education established 9 Regional Correspondence Schools between 1984 and 1990 which subsequently became the Distance Education Schools. The Vancouver Learning Network School was established in 1990 and serves students within the Lower Mainland.  The Vancouver Learning Network school now offers over 200 online and correspondence courses.
