Social Media: Are you opting out? You're not registered for this Course..

Many educators choose not to participate on social media websites. This
could be due, in part, to:

-a desire to protect their personal lives from public scrutiny
-a lack of understanding of social media (teacher naivety)
-previous negative experiences with social media

This course will consider the impact of how educators approach social
media in connection with educators approach to incidents of cyber-bullying
with the underlying question of whether anti-bullying campaigns and
education offered in school could be more effective if educators developed
confidence and a deepened their understanding of digital critical literacy
in regards to social media websites?
