teaching online 101Are you new to the world of online teaching?  No matter what K-12 subject you teach, Teaching Online 101  can help you get started. 

This introductory, self-directed course explains how to design courses in online learning environments.






The course consists of three Modules:

  1. Module 1 - An Introduction to Online Teaching
  2. Module 2 - Elements of a Good Online Learning Environment
  3. Module 3 - Communications in a Virtual World

Developed by professional educators with years of online experience, this course is intended to encourage a responsible, caring and professional approach to designing and delivering online or distributed learning programs for K-12 students.

This course may be of value to educators outside the school community who are interested in learning more about online or distributed learning.
