Adult Education to be Tuition-Free in B.C.
LearnNowBC provides access to learning opportunities for B.C. adults.
Education courses offered by public schools and accessed through LearnNowBC are free for all B.C. adults. Tuition for these courses is paid by the Province, whether you have graduated from high school or not.
Did you know…?
Adult education ranges from basic literacy (reading, writing and math) to high school courses such as history, chemistry and languages.
Students can enrol in adult education programs to complete their high school graduation, obtain the B.C. Adult Graduation Diploma (or "Adult Dogwood"), prepare for further education at the post-secondary level, or gain employability and life management skills. Schools will work with you to develop a learning plan that could lead to graduation. To find out more, visit the Advising Centre and contact a counsellor.
There is also more information about the BC Graduation Program and Graduation for Adult Learners on this website.
