Bullying behaviour was once considered a normal part of growing up. Today we know that bullying – or harassment and intimidation, as it is more often called in high schools – is harmful. It leaves young people feeling lonely and frightened – sometimes too afraid to go to school at all.
Student safety is always a priority for B.C. schools. Every instance of reported bullying must be taken seriously and responded to immediately.
