Community Resources

Education doesn’t start and stop at the doors to your child’s school. Community resources such as libraries and recreation centres offer a host of learning opportunities for children, youth and families all year round – from summer reading clubs to certified courses that count as credits in the B.C. Graduation Program.

The B.C. Library home page offers links and information on everything from finding your closest library to accessing librarians and reference materials online.

To learn more about recreation centres in your community, contact your local municipal office. Many recreation centres offer programs that parents and children can attend together.
